
Neneh Touray
Neneh Touray is the Deputy Executive Director of Gender Equality and Women Empowerment at the Ministry of Gender in The Gambia. She is an advocate for the rights of women and girls and actively participates in initiatives aimed at ending female genital mutilation (FGM). During the International Day for Zero Tolerance for FGM, she emphasized the role of youth in challenging harmful practices and expressed hope for a future where every girl can grow up free from the trauma of FGM.
