Nenneh M.C. Cham

Nenneh M.C. Cham is the President of the Gambia Bar Association (GBA), known for her advocacy in legal reform and human rights. Recently, she emphasized the importance of the newly inaugurated Special Criminal Division in efficiently prosecuting cases related to the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) recommendations, which aim to address human rights abuses that occurred in The Gambia from 1994 to 2017. Cham's leadership is pivotal in strengthening accountability and ensuring justice is served in the country.
