Nerijus Stankevičius is a Lithuanian military officer who has recently been appointed as the new commander of the Lithuanian Land Forces, succeeding Artūras Radvila. As a brigadier general, Stankevičius brings extensive experience both nationally and internationally, having previously served as the head of the 5th group of the Strategic Planning Division at NATO's Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE). His leadership has been recognized in his prior role commanding the 'Žemaitija' motorized infantry brigade.
