Néstor Emiliano Azón, affectionately known as 'Chino', was a renowned Ecuadorian footballer who made his mark in the 1960s as a prolific goal scorer for the club Everest. He gained fame for his remarkable agility and sharp instincts around the goal, often capitalizing on defensive lapses to net crucial goals. Azón played a pivotal role in Everest's historic championship win in 1962 and was later called up to represent Ecuador in the Copa América 1963.
