Néstor Tróccoli
Néstor Tróccoli is a former Uruguayan military officer who has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Italy for his involvement in the murders of three individuals during the Plan Cóndor, a coordinated repression operation among South American dictatorships in the 1970s and 1980s. He was convicted in 2021 for the assassination and disappearance of political dissidents, including Elena Quinteros, and has repeatedly denied criminal responsibility, claiming ignorance of the Plan Cóndor.
