Nevin Markwart

Nevin Markwart is a former professional ice hockey player, notable for his time with the Boston Bruins in the NHL. Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, he left the province at 18 to pursue his hockey career. After retiring from professional play, Markwart transitioned into the financial sector, holding leadership roles in firms across Boston, Toronto, and Calgary. A member of the Saskatchewan Party, he returned to Saskatchewan to engage in local politics, running as a candidate in a Regina by-election two years ago.
