Ngaire Kerse

Professor Ngaire Kerse is a prominent researcher and director of the University of Auckland’s Centre for Co-Created Ageing Research. She holds the Joyce Cook chair in Ageing Well and is actively involved in studies addressing the underdiagnosis of dementia in New Zealand, particularly through the Idea project. Her work focuses on understanding the stigma surrounding dementia and improving diagnosis and support for affected individuals, particularly among diverse communities.
