Ngo Quyen

Ngo Quyen was a prominent Vietnamese leader and military commander who is best known for his decisive victory against the Southern Han dynasty at the Battle of Bạch Đằng River in 938 AD. This victory marked the beginning of Vietnam's independence from Chinese rule, leading to the establishment of the first Vietnamese dynasty.
