Ngô Văn Luông

Ngô Văn Luông is known for his involvement in the discovery of a M5 Stuart tank submerged in the Đà River, which had lain there for over 50 years. His family's barge struck the tank while navigating the river, leading to its recovery and subsequent transfer to the Vietnam Military History Museum for preservation and display. This tank, which played a significant role in the historical battle of Tu Vũ in 1951, represents a rare artifact from the period of French military involvement in Vietnam.
