Nguyễn Bích Thùy

Nguyễn Bích Thùy is a talented Vietnamese football midfielder born in 1994 in Quảng Ngãi. She began her football journey at the age of 13 in Ho Chi Minh City and has since become one of the most experienced players in the Vietnam women's national football team. Thùy played a crucial role in leading her team to victory in the SEA Games in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023, as well as winning the AFF Cup in 2019. Despite her height of just 1.53 meters, she is known for her energetic playstyle and goal-scoring ability, famously scoring the decisive goal that qualified Vietnam for their first Women's World Cup in 2022. Recently, Thùy was in the news for expressing her disappointment after a refereeing decision denied her a legitimate goal during the SEA Games 33 final against the Philippines, which she described as 'the most beautiful goal of her career.'
