Nguyễn Công Hòa
Nguyễn Công Hòa was a Vietnamese soldier from Nghệ An who sacrificed his life on June 26, 1973, during the war in Laos. After 52 years, his identity was confirmed through DNA testing, making him the second soldier in Quảng Trị to be identified using this method. His remains were repatriated to Vietnam, and his family, particularly his 104-year-old mother, Phạm Thị Lài, awaited his return.
