Nguyễn Phi Hải is a colonel and the head of the Criminal Investigation Department for Hà Tĩnh Province, Vietnam. He has been involved in significant law enforcement operations, particularly in tackling cybercrime and organized fraud. His recent efforts led to the successful investigation and dismantling of a transnational crime ring that orchestrated an extensive online scam, affecting over 1,000 victims in Vietnam and resulting in substantial financial losses. His leadership and strategic planning played a crucial role in coordinating the multi-agency operation that captured multiple suspects involved in the fraud.
