Nguyễn Trí Khiếu

Nguyễn Trí Khiếu is a 44-year-old ship captain of the vessel Hai Duong 09, currently anchored in the Persian Gulf near Saudi Arabia. Amid escalating conflicts in the Middle East, he and his crew of 18 Vietnamese sailors are waiting for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, which has been closed due to tensions. Despite the dangerous situation, Khiếu has managed to maintain communication with his family and authorities, ensuring that his crew is well-stocked with supplies for an extended stay.
