Niall Matthews

Niall Matthews is the chairman of Lakeland Dairies, a significant dairy cooperative in Ireland. He has been an outspoken advocate for the agricultural community, particularly concerning the challenges posed by bovine tuberculosis (TB) to farmers' livelihoods and the dairy export market. Recently, he expressed concerns regarding the increasing incidence of TB and its impact on the financial and emotional well-being of farming families in a letter to Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon.
