Nicholls-Potts is the founder of Kaputī Studio, a tea business that evolved from her passion for tea and its cultural significance in her life. Growing up in Whanganui, she was inspired by her experiences with tea, from enjoying billy tea on her grandparents' land to working at a tea shop during university. Her studio aims to create unique tea blends and expand its reach through collaborations, including a mentoring program with Air New Zealand, where she seeks to share her tea culture and strengthen her business.
