Nick du Toit

Nick du Toit is a South African mercenary known for his role in a failed coup attempt in Equatorial Guinea in 2004, where he aimed to overthrow President Teodoro Obiang. He was leading a group that included British ex-SAS officer Simon Mann, which was intercepted in Zimbabwe while procuring weapons. Du Toit was arrested alongside Mann and others during the operation, marking a significant event in the history of mercenary activities in Africa.
