Nicolae Cartojan

Nicolae Cartojan was a distinguished Romanian scholar of ancient Romanian literature and a full member of the Romanian Academy. A professor at the University of Bucharest, he was recognized for his rigorous methodology and extensive research on folk books and early Romanian literature, contributing significantly to the understanding of medieval and pre-modern literary evolution in Romania.
