Nicolás Gallo Barragán

Nicolás Gallo Barragán is a Colombian referee born in Ibagué, known for his work in professional football. He made his debut in the Primera División in 2011 and has been an international referee for FIFA since 2018. Gallo is recognized for his extensive experience, having officiated over 70 top-flight matches in Colombia. He gained notable recognition during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar as the only Colombian official present. In the 2026 World Cup, he was assigned as the Assistant Video Assistant Referee (AVAR) for the final match between Argentina and Spain.
