Nie Hualing

Nie Hualing was a prominent Chinese writer and activist during the anti-Japanese war, known for her involvement in cultural initiatives that promoted resistance against Japanese occupation. She was one of the young participants in performances of '放下你的鞭子' (Put Down Your Whip), which inspired many to join in the fight for national survival.
