Nik Storonski
Nik Storonski is the co-founder and CEO of the digital bank Revolut, which has rapidly grown to become one of the largest fintech companies in the UK, boasting a valuation of around $60 billion. Born in 1984 near Moscow, Russia, he has a strong background in physics and economics, having earned master's degrees from Moscow State University. Storonski worked as a trader at Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse before establishing Revolut in 2015, driven by frustration with traditional banking systems. Recently, he made headlines for relocating to the tax-free United Arab Emirates, partly to capitalize on favorable business conditions and to avoid substantial taxes after the UK government ended certain tax privileges for high earners.
