Nikola Dabetić was a 36-year-old man who tragically passed away on November 7, 2022, from sepsis following a colonoscopy procedure that resulted in a perforated colon. His case has drawn attention due to allegations of inadequate medical care, as he was discharged from the Clinical Hospital Center in Berane despite exhibiting severe symptoms. An expert commission concluded that medical negligence contributed to his death, prompting disciplinary actions against a doctor involved in his treatment.
