Nikola Prvi Petrović Njegoš

Nikola Prvi Petrović Njegoš was a prominent Montenegrin leader, serving as Prince and later King of Montenegro. He played a significant role in the unification of the country during the 19th century and is known for his contributions to Montenegrin independence and state-building. One of his notable achievements includes the establishment of the Church of Saint Demetrius in Kolašin in 1888, commemorating the town's liberation from Ottoman rule.
