Nikolaï Baturin

Nikolaï Baturin (1936-2019) was an Estonian author and geologist known for his adventurous life and literary contributions that explore themes of spirituality and nature. Born in Estonia, he spent years traveling, including geological expeditions in Siberia, where he later lived as a trapper and hermit. His personal history, marked by his father's deportation by Soviet authorities, deeply influenced his writing.
