Nikolai Bucharin
Nikolai Bucharin (1888–1938) was a leading Bolshevik and a prominent figure in Soviet politics during the early 20th century. As the editor of the newspaper 'Isvestiya' and a member of the Communist Party, he played a crucial role in shaping Soviet ideology. Bucharin's vision for socialism included elements of cooperation with the peasantry, but he fell victim to Stalin's purges and was executed in 1938.
