Nikolai Katselapov, co-founder of the gaming company Wargaming, has been accused of making substantial donations to opposition groups, allegedly amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars in cryptocurrency. This controversy emerged in a documentary titled 'Shadows. The Cost of Terror,' which claimed he sent multiple transfers to various initiatives deemed extremist. In January 2023, he was placed on a terrorist list for financing activities associated with several groups recognized as terrorist organizations, including 'Bajpol' and 'Cyber Partisans.' Currently, Katselapov is reported to be abroad, and legal proceedings are anticipated against him.
