Nikolai Lokhansky

Nikolai Lokhansky, 38, hails from Novogrudok and moved to Minsk for his studies, graduating from the Belarusian State Technological University in 2010. He has had a significant career in the Minsk utility sector, notably leading housing and utility operations in various districts. In addition to his administrative roles, Lokhansky was involved in electoral commissions, serving in a position from the district organization of the BRSM in 2016. He is married and has a daughter, residing recently in Vjazynia near Minsk. Known for his passion for football, especially the English Premier League and Manchester United, Lokhansky faced legal troubles in 2026 when he was convicted for allegedly aiding extremist activities, likely linked to the Belarusian monitoring project, Hayout, established to track military movements amid the Ukraine conflict.
