
Nikolai Losev
Nikolai Losev was a former police colonel in Belarus who became notorious for his involvement with the Morozov gang, one of the most ruthless criminal organizations in the country during the late 20th century. He acted as a protector for the gang, reportedly receiving bribes to provide them with police information, which allowed their criminal activities to continue unabated. After being implicated in the gang's operations, he was convicted in 2006 and sentenced to 18 years in prison. Losev passed away in prison in 2018 at the age of 65.
