Nikolai Moroz

Nikolai Moroz is the chairman of the Lyakhovichi District Executive Committee in Belarus. He was recently in the news for discussing the presence and contributions of migrant workers, particularly from Turkmenistan, in the local economy. Moroz noted that these workers are filling labor shortages in unskilled positions on agricultural enterprises in the region. He emphasized that their presence does not hinder the local workforce and acknowledged the global trend of labor migration, while also indicating that the district has not yet considered accepting workers from Pakistan despite inquiries.
