Nikolai Simonenko

Nikolai Simonenko is the current Deputy Governor of the Bryansk region in Russia, appointed in the fall of 2021. He oversees the Department of Construction and the management of architecture and urban planning in the region. Recently, he was in the news due to law enforcement conducting searches at his home and workplace as part of an investigation into fortification structures along the border with Ukraine.
