Nikos-Georgios Papachristou is a journalist and the director of the Press and Communication Office of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Fanar. He gained public attention when he recounted a profound personal experience in May 2015, when Pope Francis blessed his mother, who was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, during a visit to the Vatican.
