Nikos Kalogeris

Nikos Kalogeris is the Deputy Regional Governor of Chania, Crete. He has been vocal about the challenges posed by the significant number of refugees and migrants arriving on the island, particularly the overcrowding at the Agia exhibition center. Kalogeris has raised concerns about safety issues and the need for timely transfer of these individuals to the mainland, especially as the weather remains conducive for further arrivals.
