Nikos Kalogeropoulos was a celebrated Greek actor, director, screenwriter, poet, and songwriter, known for his impactful roles in films such as "Learn, My Child, to Read" (1981) and "Loufa kai Parallagi" (1984), the latter earning him a Best Actor award at the Thessaloniki Film Festival. Born in 1952 in Filiatra, Messinia, he studied at the Kosti Michailidis Theatre School in Athens. His career spanned various mediums, including theatre and television, where he appeared in notable series like "O Fotografos tou Xoriou" (1977) and "Erastis Anthropos" (1999). In recent years, he focused on cultural initiatives in his hometown, creating the "Trenotechnio," a space dedicated to artistic expression. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 74, following health issues.
