
Nils Ching Vargas
Nils Ching Vargas has recently been appointed as the new Vice Minister of Justice in Costa Rica, taking over from Juan Carlos Arias Agüero. Ching Vargas previously served as the director of the Penitentiary Police since 2018 and has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice. He is an attorney with a master's degree in educational technology and digital competencies from the University of La Rioja, Spain.
