Nina Frei

Nina Frei, an 18-year-old former heavy smartphone user, turned to the University Psychiatric Clinics in Basel for help after struggling with her addiction. Spending up to eight hours a day on her phone had severe consequences on her social life and academic performance. After undergoing treatment, she is now working on managing her screen time by engaging in alternative activities and distancing herself from her smartphone.
