Nina Grebeshkova

Nina Grebeshkova was a renowned Russian actress, famous for her roles in iconic Soviet comedies such as 'The Diamond Arm' and 'The Caucasian Captive.' Born on November 29, 1930, she began her film career while still a student at VGIK and became widely recognized for her performance as a doctor in Gaidai's 'The Caucasian Captive' in 1966. She was married to celebrated director Leonid Gaidai for over 40 years until his passing in 1993. Grebeshkova's career spanned several decades, with approximately 130 film roles, making her a beloved figure in Russian cinema. She passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 94.
