Nina Șerbănescu

Nina Șerbănescu is a Romanian engineer and researcher known for her work in the field of metal corrosion. She gained prominence as the wife of Ion Iliescu, the first president of Romania after the 1989 revolution. Their marriage began in 1951, during which time she balanced her professional career with her husband's political life, particularly during his terms as president.
