Nirashamsher Rana

Nirashamsher Rana served as the Chief of the Army Staff of Nepal from 2017 to 2022 and later held the honorary title of Field Marshal. He was known for his close ties with the monarchy and political entities in Nepal. After his retirement, he continued to influence military and political affairs until his death in 2070 B.S. (2013 AD). His family's land ownership issues have recently come under scrutiny, highlighting historical discrepancies in land regulations in Nepal.
