Nisal Liyanarachchi

Nisal Liyanarachchi is an engineering officer from the Railway Department of Sri Lanka, recognized for his role in the restoration efforts of the Eastern Railway Line following significant damage caused by flooding. Recently, he announced the completion of 90% of the repair work on the line from Mahawa to Gal Oya, enabling the resumption of train services after an 18-day suspension due to the natural disaster.
