Nishantha Ulugedara

Nishantha Ulugedara is a retired Sri Lankan Navy officer who served for over 40 years, achieving the rank of Navy Commander. He has been recognized with military honors for his exemplary service during wartime. After retirement, he was appointed as the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Cuba but was later recalled amidst political changes when the National People's Power government came into power. Recently, he gained media attention due to a court ruling that granted him bail after being remanded without sufficient evidence.
