Niu Junxia, aged 44, is a key instructor at a hemp shoe intangible cultural heritage workshop in Gangu County. Originally a left-behind woman who received training, she has since become a skilled artisan, teaching others the intricate techniques of hemp shoe making, enabling them to earn a decent income through their craft.
