Niv Shteif

Niv Shteif is a 30-year-old football referee and former combat soldier who sustained severe injuries during a conflict near the Lebanon border, resulting in the amputation of his left hand. After undergoing extensive surgeries and rehabilitation, he returned to officiating in football as a VAR assistant referee in October 2024, demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination to continue his career in sports despite his physical challenges.
