Nivaldo Madriñán Aponte
Nivaldo Madriñán Aponte was a Panamanian military officer implicated in the forced disappearance of priest Héctor Gallego during the military dictatorship in Panama. He, along with Eugenio Magallón and Melbourne Walker, was convicted for his role in the crime, which occurred on June 9, 1971. Although Madriñán was sentenced for his involvement, he reportedly passed away before any accountability for the crime could be fully realized, leaving many questions about the case unresolved.
