Nkioul

Nkioul is the Head of the Education Sector at the UNESCO Regional Office for the Maghreb. She recently participated in a workshop organized by the Mauritanian Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Original Education in collaboration with UNESCO to endorse the National Literacy Strategy and its operational plan for 2026-2030. In her address, she emphasized the critical role of literacy as a foundation for economic and cultural empowerment, highlighting the importance of engaging stakeholders, particularly women and youth, in the fight against illiteracy.
