Nobuko Oshita

Nobuko Oshita was a 13-year-old student who tragically lost her life in the Hiroshima atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. On that fateful day, she was working on a demolition site just 800 meters from the explosion's epicenter, having sewn her own summer school uniform. Although she was initially rescued and returned home, she succumbed to her injuries later that night, leaving behind a poignant reminder of the innocent lives affected by war.
