Noemie Dagan

Noemie Dagan is a mountain refuge caretaker at the Selle refuge in the Ecrins, located at an altitude of 2,673 meters. With 15 years of experience in her profession, she has witnessed significant changes in the alpine environment, particularly due to climate change. As the summer hiking season begins, she faces a critical water shortage caused by an early melt of the snow and glaciers, which has forced her to implement difficult solutions such as installing long plastic pipes to collect water from a nearby glacier.
