Nongoma Ouandaogo

Nongoma Ouandaogo is a 92-year-old veteran of the Algerian War who resides in Burkina Faso. Born around 1933, he served in the French army during the Algerian conflict in 1958 and later participated in military operations in Mali in 1974. Despite the challenges of old age, he remains physically active and attributes his longevity to his honesty, diligence, and the blessings of his parents. Ouandaogo emphasizes the importance of listening to the wisdom of elders and encourages the younger generation to work seriously, uphold their traditions, and remain honest.
