Nora Alicia Biebrich Duarte

Nora Alicia Biebrich Duarte is the mayor of Bacanora, Sonora, known for her active participation in education and local politics. A graduate in education from the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, she has worked as a teacher in both Hermosillo and Bacanora. Recently, she gained media attention following an armed attack on her vehicle, which resulted in the tragic death of her son, who was driving at the time.
