Norefjell Jacquiline Marama Tanga Royal

Norefjell Jacquiline Marama Tanga Royal, known as Marama Royal, is a prominent Māori leader and the chair of the Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Trust. Since taking on leadership roles in the trust, she has significantly contributed to the iwi's growth, overseeing a substantial increase in asset value from $631 million in 2014 to $1.53 billion by last year. Royal has been recognized for her services to Māori and governance, receiving the title of Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
