Nova Emelda is the Director of Supervision of Security, Quality, and Import-Export of Drugs, Narcotics, Psychotropics, Precursors, and Addictive Substances at the Indonesian National Food and Drug Authority (BPOM). Recently, she was in the news discussing the new regulations under Government Regulation No. 28 of 2024, which aims to strengthen tobacco control measures in Indonesia, particularly focusing on monitoring electronic cigarettes and ensuring compliance with health warnings on tobacco products.
