Novi Helmy

Letnan Jenderal Novi Helmy is a prominent Indonesian military officer currently serving as the Director of Perum Bulog, a state-owned logistics agency. He has recently been in the news following the Indonesian National Armed Forces' (TNI) decision to withdraw active soldiers from positions in ministries and agencies not stipulated under the revised TNI law. Novi is awaiting a formal resignation letter after being appointed as the Commander of the TNI Academy and has since transitioned to a special staff officer role as he approaches retirement.
